Inquiets des dérives croissantes qu’emprunte notre société à l’égard des animaux, victimes innocentes et vulnérables, face à toutes ces agressions perpétrées envers eux et qui vont à l'encontre des valeurs d'une société évoluée et civilisée, face à l’apathie, à l’ignorance ou à la complicité de ceux à qui il en profite, face à cette pensée unique et omniprésente qui ne considère les animaux que comme des êtres inférieurs ou de la marchandise dont on peut disposer au gré, nous ne pouvons rester indifférents ou silencieux.

C'est pourquoi nous croyons qu'il est impératif d'agir afin de conscientiser et ainsi faire en sorte que les animaux soient protégés des persécutions qui leurs sont infligées par notre propre espèce.

C'est dans cet esprit que nous avons créé Aequo Animo, une association à travers laquelle les citoyens pourront s'informer, s'exprimer, se forger une opinion et agir car, contrairement aux idées reçues, chacun à son niveau peut faire évoluer les choses: il suffit de le vouloir, de s’impliquer et d’effectuer les bons choix.

Nous nous retrouvons donc aujourd'hui tous ensemble pour informer et éduquer face aux injustices perpétrées à l’égard de ceux qui ne peuvent s’en défendre et nous vous invitons à inscrire l'adresse de ce site parmi vos signets et à devenir membres d’Aequo Animo, ce qui vous permettra de recevoir notre Journal et nous permettra d’être présents auprès de la population et de diffuser l’information.

Espérant vous compter sous peu parmi nous afin de faire avancer cette cause -en votre nom et en nos noms à tous.

Announcing the launch of Aequo Animo

Aequo Animo is happy to announce the official launch of its organization and of its web site.

Troubled by the increasingly callous attitude of society towards those innocent and vulnerable victims, animals, in light of all the violence perpetrated against them in opposition to the values of an evolved and civilized society, faced with the apathy, the ignorance or the complicity of those who profit from their exploitation, in light of the omnipresent view that considers animals to be inferior beings or mere merchandise to be disposed of at will, we cannot remain indifferent or silent.

We believe that it is imperative to educate others if animals are ever to be protected from the injustices inflicted upon them by human beings.

With this goal we have created Aequo Animo, an organization through which people can become informed, express themselves, form an opinion and act, since contrary to popular belief, every one of us can make a difference: we need only have the motivation and the willingness to get involved and to make the right choices.

We have thus joined together to inform and educate others about the injustices perpetrated upon those who cannot defend themselves, and we invite you to bookmark this site and to become members of Aequo Animo, which will allow you to receive our Newsletter (in french only) and will allow us to have a presence among the population and to spread the word.

We hope to count you among us in order to advance this cause - in your name and in the names of all of us.
